Description
The BowHouse RC SCX10 II HD Battery Tray + Servo & Bumper Mount is perfect for drivers that run steering servos with massive torque and push their trucks to the limits! Every aspect of the popular BowHouse battery tray and servo mounts have been strengthened and the addition of a beefy front bumper mount creates even more strength. To top it off, a fairlead has been incorporated for those that run a servo winch (servo winch mount not included – BWH-BSX-0070C). This part is printed in-house in ultra-light, ultra-strong carbon fiber nylon.
This tray works with all versions of the Axial SCX10 II and can be used in combination with the Forward Mount Transmission Cradle on the kit version.
INSTALLATION TIPS
1. Before installation, clean out the screw mounting holes with a 3/32″ drill bit running at a slow speed. This will remove any excess powder left from the finishing process and make it easier to start the screws.
2. Clean out the bumper mount holes with a 5/16″ drill bit to make it easier for your bumper posts to slide in.
3. Be careful not to overtighten screws. Tighten all screws by hand. You can use a dab of Shoe Goo or E6000 to help keep screws tight.
4. Add a battery strap and you’re ready to hit the trails!

Some guy who bought this battery tray and wished he hadn’t Verified Owner Sunday, May 3 2020 (about 5 years ago) BowHouse RC SCX10 II HD Battery Tray + Servo & Bumper Mount I have to give this battery tray a bad review for a couple of reasons. Firstly, the cutouts to put your battery strap velcro through are right next to the shock towers. It makes it super awkward to actually put a strap around your battery. Why didn’t they just put them at each end of the tray? Also, the servo mounts from the top and sits on raised tabs. This means that normal servo horns will hit the chassis rail. I have a Boom Racing low profile one that JUST clears. I don’t know why the tabs need to be so high or why they didn’t just drill right through to give you the option of mounting the servo from underneath 1 customer found this review helpful.
