Description

Firebrand Stix Wheel & Tire Skewers make it easier to organize your wheels and tires. These unique, 7″ skewer sets include four Stix, four tightening disks and four locking clips that will allow you to group all of your wheels and tires together in an organized fashion. Can also be used for wheel racks on scale projects. STIX are 4mm in diameter and 7 inches long. They will accommodate 1:16 scale, 1:10 scale and 1:8 scale wheels – sizes ranging from 2.0″, 2.2″, 2.8″, 3.0″, 5.0″ up to 8″ and, if desired, can be painted with polycarbonate paint.

Bryson Kahaloa Verified Owner Wednesday, Oct 18 2023 (about a year ago) Firebrand RC Stix Wheel & Tire Skewers (4) I’d bought these because they’re very similar to the ones made by Eagle Model that’s sold by another retailer.
Honestly, it’s identical to what I’ve used before except for one small problem: the picture shows FIVE of these “Stix” but my order came with FOUR and had FIVE washers and clips… Not sure who’s to blame but that kind of inconsistency between stock photo and actual product packaging is misleading. I get that manufacturers make changes to their products but why give me five washers and clips but only four “Stix”…?
Minor packaging issue aside, these do the intended job that I had purchased them to do: hold a set of tires together neatly.
Personally, I run 1/10 on-road so I can’t really recommend these for any other sort of 1/10 wheel set since these are VERY narrow and really it seems to be made for 1/10 Touring. These work great for my purpose (1/10 Touring and 1/10 RWD Drift) but your mileage may vary.
Again, not a big deal but if I’m meant to have five but only receive four, it’s a little deceiving to the buyer and Firebrand needs to fix that. 1 customer found this review helpful.
