Spool Overview:
Traxxas Aluminum Differential Locker Spool. This spool is an option part intended to increase the amount of power that reaches the wheels. Unlike a traditional center differential that can lead to tire spin and loss of torque, the center spool directs maximum torque to the tires with the most traction, resulting in significantly improved acceleration. Designed for off-road use to handle increased torque and drivetrain stress, this upgrade offers superior performance on challenging terrain. The spool can also be used in the front or rear differential with the included aluminum diver cup mount rod for versatile application.
Note:
- This locker works with the front, center, and rear of the 8s models and front and rear of the 6s models
- Due to the inherent additional drivetrain strain that comes with replacing a differential with a spool, this item is recommended for off-road use only
