This is a pack of two optional Hot Racing Aluminum CNC Steering Blocks in Black Anodize. These machined aluminum alloy parts are intended for use with the Traxxas 4-Tec 2.0 platform, and take the place of the standard plastic blocks (TRA8337).

NOTE: It is recommended to apply medium thread lock on metal screws that thread into metal

Phillip Kolek Verified Owner Thursday, Mar 10 2022 (about 3 years ago) Hot Racing Aluminum Steering Block for Traxxas 4-Tec 2.0 (Black) (2) Working on installing these steering blocks. Description says clearly marked left and right. I see nothing indicating which side they go to. Edit: It appears that these can go on either side. Unfortunately for what I paid for these, one hit and they are done already. Maybe if they were more solid instead of cut out they would have lasted a little longer. Guess I am going back to the stock plastic ones. They do look nice and up until the one bent, they did seem to hold together better then the plastic as far as the screws go with just a little thread lock. These steering blocks are easy to put together as far as the bearings go. I did spray some dry lube graphite in them before sliding the bearings in, hope that will help get them apart now.
