The Hot Racing Axial SCX10 II AR44 Aluminum Servo On Axle SOA Mount is an aluminum servo on axle conversion for the Axial AR44 axle housing. This moves the servo off the chassis and on to the axle and is recommended for performance and competition oriented builds.

D Bradshaw Verified Owner Monday, Oct 14 2019 (about 5 years ago) Hot Racing Axial SCX10 II AR44 Aluminum Servo On Axle SOA Mount (Black) This is a well made SOA mount that is well thought out, looks great. Fits the stock ar44 and fit my Xtraspeed steel ar44s. Install difficulty is moderate. A dremmel and some creativity/patience are needed. If there where instructions provided it would have been a much easier install.
Just a couple heads up…
Using this kit means you will have to remove the stock servo mount and battery tray. You will need to make/buy a new battery tray and relocate it. I re-purposed a quad-copter frame plate and mounted it horizontally on the rear battery tray cross member just ahead of the motor. This is a popular mounting location.
Using this kit changes the front end from a 3 link to a 4 link. You will remove the pan-hard bar and will have to cut the bar mount off of your shock tower.
They provide the necessary links in the kit but you will need a extra long servo horn to make the steering geometry work. Also the 4 link bar looks nothing like the axial bar, so if you’re someone that cares about all your parts matching you wont be happy with it. 4 customers found this review helpful. Sure, they look great and the machine work is great. They don’t fit! Not even close. Very disappointing from what used to be reputable company. Had to modify a bit for it to work. Tried every way to avoid but was off about 1/32 on each side
Given the axle and servo position you would think the steering link would be correct- nope
