Michael Goodall Saturday, Apr 10 2021 (about 4 years ago) Pro-Line 6×30 to 12mm Aluminum Hex Adapters (2) (Wide) I was using the 12mm plastic hex on my Rustler 4×4. Had one strip out. It was either the wheel nut loosened up or it just smoked the wheel adapapter. I was running 12mm aluminum hexes on HR alloy axles with 2.8 proline mx28s. So it hooked extremely hard and it’s rough on parts. Ordered these hubs in a 17mm option. They are machined absolutely perfectly. The fit and finish are unreal. The threads tapped for lug screws are perfect. Each part snaps together with a perfect fit. You will break everything else on the whole car before one of these lets go I’m sure. Ron Verified Owner Tuesday, Jun 1 2021 (about 4 years ago) Pro-Line 6×30 to 12mm Aluminum Hex Adapters (2) (Wide) These do not work if you run MIP axles. I am constantly stripping the plastic removable hexes so I thought an aluminum upgrade would suffice. Wrong. The MIP axle stub is a bit shorter than the stock plastic Traxxas axles. You are fine if you use the plastic removable hex. The aluminum hex is thicker than the plastic which is a good thing but on the MIP axles the wheel nut does not thread passed the Teflon lock. I tried them anyway with locktite. I stripped the aluminum ones as well. Lame. 0 of 3 customers found this review helpful. View all reviews
