This is a pair of pre-mounted Badlands MX28 2.8” Tires on Raid Removable Hex Wheels. Pro-Line Badlands tires are known for having sweet Motocross inspired tread and the Badlands MX28 tires kick that up a notch with a Bigger and Bolder knobby tread that matches modern MX tire design.
The Badlands MX28 2.8” comes Pre-Mounted on a the next generation 2.8” wheel design from Pro-Line, the Raid 2.8” Removable Hex Wheel for all 2.8” tires! Imagine being able to easily change the offset of your wheel to fit different applications by simply changing out the hex! You can go from the included 12mm narrow offset (2wd Stampede/Rustler Rear) to the included 12mm wide offset hexes (2wd Stampede/Rustler Front and 4×4 Stampede/Rustler Front and Rear) quickly and easily.
Also imagine being able to replace a damaged wheel hex without needing to replace your glued tires (PRO6335-00 Replacement Hexes) or even upgrading your wheels to 17mm wheel hexes (PRO6336-00 Sold Separately) for extreme use! No clogging. OEM tires weigh 104grams. Badlands are 200grams. Taller, substantially, just short of twice as wide. Increased frame clearance. Increased traction. Ballooning minimal. I’m not into wheeling, but at 75% , sometimes the front wheels come off the ground. And that’s OK. Pure fun. Your Typhon will not ever look as good. Nor perform as well. A worthwhile investment. Like other Pro-Line tires tread lasts a long time, rubber doesn’t chunk like cheaper tires do.

Opened one bag and pulled everything out and saw no screws. Then I decided to be extra careful and tore the top off of the next bag, meaning it was sealed from pro-line, and carefully pulled out everything to find that the second bag was also missing any screws. What a disappointment.
Had enough extra screws to mount them up but I’ll need to order more to make sure there are 6 in each wheel before I start bashing it. However, 3 out of the 4 hub adapters cracked. This is apparently a known problem.
