I installed it in a Ryft for a 2 speed shift and worked perfectly that said it has such a wide range of voltage you dont have to worry about your radio system running over voltage as this is high voltage and is FAST .

David Polcyn Friday, Oct 14 2022 (about 2 years ago) Reefs RC 99micro High Torque/Speed Metal Gear Digital Micro Servo (High Voltage) This servo may be great in some applications, but combined with a Vanquish Hurts Dig…it burnt out the internal gears within 2 batteries (and I run a servo saver). Yes, my end points were set. But like most dig units, the cogs don’t always align without some movement of the rig. That short delay appeared to be too much for this thing. I wouldn’t recommend a micro servo unless you want to be replacing them often. 3 customers found this review helpful. I am using it for a steering servo on SCX24 builds I am doing. (4 now)
They have multiple mounting holes on the tab, the tabs are easily modified and they work great.
They would be overkill on a stock rig, but my builds tend to be heavy. (Going for scale not performance)
The builds I am making outweigh the stock SCX24 by more than Double. I am putting diecast bodies on them with brushless motors.

They tell you it has metal gears, but they don’t tell you that the metal is brass. Had to send it to reefs and pay thirty bucks for another gear set. No explanation, smooth track, the only one practicing on track and lost steering. This servo was suggested in forums but I think I’ll stick to Savox that have never failed me. I have added a ton of weight to the hubs and tire inserts. No issues with this servo. After the factory servo burnt up I spent the extra money on this servo and it was worth every penny. I have other brand servos and now I will be swapping those out and only running Reefs!
