Brian Murff Thursday, Feb 24 2022 (about 3 years ago) SSD RC Slot 1.9″” Steel Beadlock Wheels (Black) These are nice wheels, but they are near impossible to assemble without special tools. You can find on YouTube where people have created all sorts of tools to press these together enough to get the bolts to actually catch.
If they just provided 2 extra longer screws to get it started, and then you could get the other 4 started, and swap the 2 longs ones with regular ones. That’s all it would take. Without any special tools it will be very easy for you to cross-thread the screws when you are having to force the 2 sides together just to try and get 1 thread to catch.
I was able to get mine done without cross-threading any screws, but they should provide a way for people to avoid it. 2 longer screws would do it. (Sadly, they are thinner than the standard RC screws, so the billion you have tucked away won’t work!) anonymous Verified Owner Friday, Jun 11 2021 (about 4 years ago) SSD RC Slot 1.9″” Steel Beadlock Wheels (Black) Reminds me of the 70’s and 80’s slot mags.
