Some people prefer metal wheels for their durability but these plastic wheels are plenty strong and may favor super light builds where the ultimate goal is to reduce weight. The wheels are bead locks where the hub halves are secured via screws in the center hub. Tip: Change the screws with bolt type heads for a more scale look. 1 customer found this review helpful. These weight 35g and that’s with an aluminum hub instead of the plastic one it comes with. Interestingly enough the bronze colored ones weigh 37g. View all reviews
