Gmade BOM GS02 1/10 4WD Ultimate Trail Truck Kit

Description

The Gmade BOM GS02 1/10 4WD Ultimate Trail Truck Kit is built on a scale ladder frame with stand-up front and lay-down rear shocks that make way for the scale rear bed cage. The steering servo is located in the front part of the chassis and the steering assembly is a zero-Ackermann design for maximized steering performance. Angled front king pins minimize the scrub radius for further increased steering efficiency. The heavy-duty threaded aluminum shock absorbers utilize 3.5mm shock shafts and the transmission, with all-metal internal gears, helps reduce torque twist. Optionally a 2-speed hi/lo transmission conversion will be available separately to add speed when needed. The kit is finished off with grippy tires, a cool looking body shell and some scale accessories that will help add realism to the build.

Fred Rieger Verified Owner Friday, Jan 11 2019 (about 6 years ago) Gmade BOM GS02 1/10 4WD Ultimate Trail Truck Kit Very happy with this truck. Instructions were a bit lacking but easily overcome. Quality parts, all fit very well. I did loose 1 critical part during the build but got the Gmade info from Amain and got the replacement part quickly. I have since purchased the Proline Ford F-250 extended cab and the 2 parts trees from Gmade for a complete rear cage, they match perfectly and now have 2 complete body/cage set ups for the one chassis. 4 customers found this review helpful. Instruction manual was good with clear instructions, the only observation is that it doesn’t include instructions for the alternative rear shock mounting options. Videos for that are available on YouTube though. I went with the recommended cantilevered shock setup with the G-Made upgraded aluminum cantilever arms and anti-sway bar for the rear suspension. Overall quality of plastics and hardware was very good, on par I’d say with recent Axial offerings. Jeffery Steede Verified Owner Friday, May 19 2023 (about 2 years ago) Gmade BOM GS02 1/10 4WD Ultimate Trail Truck Kit This kit was fun and easy to build i have built allot of kits and this is very high quality in my eyes the suspension is very interesting that is why i bought it knowing it comes with the original shock towers for stock suspension if you prefer that over the cantilever setup.
The truck performed very well with the 80A firma brushless system and could take on any terrain you throw at it and could climb some steep hills and the suspension worked great .
If your looking for a first crawler truck or if your a experienced builder this truck is for you.
