The traction is ice like and even after sanding tread and soaking, they are still horrible for traction. DO NOT BUY THESE FOR RACING!!!! Jim Tarr Tuesday, May 20 2025 (4 months ago) Pro-Line Hoosier G60 SC 2.2/3.0″ Dirt Oval SC Mod Tires (2) (M4) Ran these on my traxxas slash modified on asphalt oval and the bite was much better than I was getting with the hoosier angle block tires that come on it new. I was really impressed with the traction that I want to try them on a high bite clay track to see if they hold up on the turns on a clay oval track. The wear on the tires was minimal compared to the hoosier angle block. But I think that these tires are only going to work with a certain compound of dirt because these things make my car like Disney on ice. Before you say that my car is not setup right, it’s a Traxxas LCG 2wd that is completely setup like my stock Mudboss 2wd Slash. My mudboss finishes podium every race and its very well hooked up. I can’t say you shouldn’t buy them but I would definitely ask some fellow racers what kind of tires they run and if they work on your local track. Not sure if running tire prep would help but these just don’t hook for me at all. Get more caked with dirt than anything, dirt packs into the tread and they become slicks. I tried a set of my buddies Proline HoleShot tires one night on my car and it was a completely different car and got more hooked up. Hope this helps.
