ProTek R/C “TruTorque SL” nut drivers feature updated, “super light” 20mm diameter machined aluminum handles that have been knurled to provide a high leverage, non slip surface that will be comfortable to use during long wrenching sessions. The tool size is etched into the handle for easy identification and a black rubber cap is fitted to the end to increase comfort during use. The precision cut tool steel tips provide an exceptional fit with the fastener, and feature a bronze colored finish that not only looks good, but also helps to protect the steel from corrosion.

Assembly quality needs improvement. Multiple wrenches were assembled without the set screw aligning to the flat machined into the driver shaft. The longer handles are great for fellas with big hands. The nut driver bodies are thin so they easily fit into narrow spaces. The deep well is also fantastic. Unlike my old Factory Team set, I never have an issue with taking nuts on/off any long screws. The price is a bit steep, but these are probably worth it. The handles and larger than I thought they would be. The pic is slightly misleading, but that’s a good thing. They look like a very expensive tool, and the finish is excellent. I tried out the 8mm, and I bet I could easily strip a hex nut with the amount of grip I get with the handle. Super comfortable too.
