The Tamiya M-08 Concept 1/10 RWD Touring Car Chassis Kit is a high-performance rear-wheel drive chassis kit built around a rigid monocoque chassis with the main frame split into front and rear sections. It offers superior rear traction characteristics and fuss-free maintenance thanks to the easy-access differential. C.V.A. (Constant Volume Adjustable) oil shocks support 4-wheel double wishbone suspension with dedicated long arms and steering linkage components for a wide range of setup options. A silky-smooth drivetrain utilizes full ball bearings, oil-filled gear differential unit and universal drive shafts. It can be assembled with a 210mm (S), 225mm (M) or 239mm (L) wheelbase, making it compatible with appropriately-sized existing Tamiya M-chassis body sets.

Timmy Klatte Verified Owner Thursday, Jul 13 2023 (about 2 years ago) Tamiya M-08 Concept 1/10 RWD Touring Car Chassis Kit I found this chassis kit a bit harder to assemble than other Tamiya kits. The plastic turnbuckles are miserably hard to put together and should be replaced with threaded ends. The kit was missing one ball bearing and a few spacers so I had to find some in my inventory. But the biggest complaint about this kit is that it does not tell you that a low profile steering servo is needed to make the steering work. I have used a Futaba S3003 in all of my other Tamiya kits-and this one cannot use it. Tamiya needs to make this known before someone purchases the kit. There are also several steps in assembly that could be simplified by simply redesigning a few components.
Overall, this is definitely not a beginner’s kit-but of course it is not advertised as such. But it does look like it’s gonna be cool once I finish it. 1 of 3 customers found this review helpful. View all reviews
