Description

Tekno EB410 69mm Rear Universal Driveshafts are CNC machined from high-quality steel alloy and black oxidized for wear resistance. Extreme working angles are no problem and as a genuine Tekno part, they are durable and will wear very well. They are also lightweight as the excess material has been removed without compromising performance or strength.
Universal driveshafts excel in rough conditions and can generate additional side bite by providing additional roll in the corners. The suspension is allowed to work more efficiently when compared to the additional mechanical binding in CVA’s. This allows the vehicle to absorb bumps better with a reduced risk of “catching a rut” and flipping the car while cornering. For smoother tracks, CVA’s will produce more forward traction and support, but universals are also well suited with slight suspension setup changes (springs and oil).
The basic design of a universal driveshaft means virtually no maintenance is required and dirt and dust won’t foul the operation of the joint. These are ready to drop into your EB410 with the use of additional 8x14x4mm bearings (TKRBB08144).

NOTE:TKR6688 requires 2ea 8x14x4mm bearings (TKRBB08144), one for each wheel hub assembly. To completely outfit the EB410 with universal drive shafts TKR6687 must also be used in the rear of the vehicle along with two additional 8x14x4mm bearings.

marcus vaughan Verified Owner Wednesday, Feb 6 2019 (about 6 years ago) Tekno RC EB410 69mm Rear Universal Driveshaft (2) They fit is great with the recommended bearings however if you have upgraded the rear hub carriers to aluminum such as exotec hub carriers the bearing will not fit and you will have to revert back to the original plastic hub carriers before being able to use this item with the recommended bearings.
I have not had the chance to run with them yet but they seem well built and sturdy. My only concern is that they can’t be rebuilt so should the wear out and come apart I’d have to order a whole new set rather than replacing a pin and grub screw. Hopefully they are as ridged as they seem. View all reviews
